History of the ADSp

The ADSp This already exists since 1927. Despite the long history, there have been relatively few new versions. The last four versions from 1999 (cf. Chamber of Industry and Commerce Nuremberg ), 2003 , 2016 and 2017 .

The ADSp were created in 1927 because there are a wide variety of legal regulations relating to the transport sector. The ADSp standardizes this confusion and adapts some legal regulations to everyday business. To ensure that as many companies as possible agree to the ADSp, they are negotiated and published jointly by various industry associations.

ADSp 1999

The ADSp 1999 were created due to new regulations in the German Commercial Code (HGB) and replaced the ADSp of 1993.

ADSp 2003

The ADSp 2003 became sensible after the old regulations resulted in high insurance claims for the freight forwarders.

ADSp 2016

In 2016, after almost 90 years of ADSp history, there was something new: the industry associations were able to cannot agree on common rules . The ADSp 2016 were therefore published solely by the German freight forwarding association DSLV.

My experience with my Courier service after all, all Freight forwarders & Courier services after the ADSp worked and insisted on their regulations.

ADSp 2017

For the ADSp 2017 The industry associations In addition to the existing associations “Federation of German Industries (BDI)”, “Federal Association of Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services (BGA)”, “Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK)”, “German Freight Forwarders and Logistics Association (DSLV)” and “German Retail Association (HDE)”, the “Federal Association of Road Haulage, Logistics and Disposal (BGL)”, the “Federal Association of Furniture Forwarders and Logistics (AMÖ)” and the “Federal Association of Business, Transport and Logistics (BWVL)” now also recommend its use.
