ADSp 2017 §10 Freight transfer, cash on delivery

The client's notification that the order is to be processed freight collect or, for example, to be carried out for the account of the recipient or a third party in accordance with the Incoterms, does not affect the client's obligation to the freight forwarder to pay the remuneration and other expenses (freight, customs duties and other charges). Cash on delivery instructions, for example in accordance with Section 422 of the German Commercial Code (HGB), Article 21 of the CMR, remain unaffected.
